Our commitment
We are committed to making grandoutlet.net accessible to people with disabilities. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we design, build and update the Site, and we review it regularly as content changes.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with landmarks, one clear heading per page and a “Skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation, search, filters, forms, the image gallery, FAQ accordions and the Grand Guide chat, with visible focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and store photography; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Color choices that meet contrast requirements, and information that is never conveyed by color alone (for example, availability badges also use text).
- Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages announced to screen readers, and no time limits on completing forms.
- Reduced-motion support: animations are minimized when your device’s “reduce motion” setting is on.
- Responsive layouts that work with browser zoom up to 400% and on small screens, with touch targets sized for mobile use.
- Live-region announcements for search results, form status and chat responses.
Known limitations
Some content comes from third parties and may not fully meet our standard — for example the embedded Google Map, Google review text, and Instagram post images whose descriptions depend on the original captions. Where possible we provide an accessible alternative (a plain link to Google Maps and directions, and a text summary of ratings). We are also continually improving product photo descriptions as new items are added.
